The Diamond cutter spindle was developed by Auto Fish Scalers at the request of fish processors who wanted a more aggressive scaling head than the regular KT-S spindles. Unlike those heads, this one is made of machined bronze with sharp edges. You attach it with a screw on the rotating shaft.  Very quick and easy.We sent out prototypes to a number of processors. This is the Standard spindle for the KT-S electric fish scaler. It is made of stainless steel and screws onto the rotating post in the KT-S hand piece. Very easy to install or remove. The Standard spindle comes with the KT-S Fish Scaler and is used for most fish. We have optional spindles for large scale fish, flat sided fish, and specialty spindles for Salmon. Some of our customers wanted a more aggressive spindle, so we developed the Diamond spindle. Take a look.

Our KT-S Fish Scaler Parts This is the KT-S Hand-piece with or without the Standard spindle. The diagram shows the components of the hand piece. It includes all parts shown if you order with the Standard spindle.   If you order without the spindle, it will not include part 43.  You attach it to the rubber casing by screwing it into the casing and tightening a nut to hold them together.
